Welcome to Woodford cum Membris Bowls Club
The village of Woodford-cum-Membris has a mixed lawn bowls club, based in rural Northamptonshire, we welcome players of all ages and abilities and offer a friendly environment in which to learn, play and enjoy the game,
socially or competitively. We have been at a current site since August 1993
Club night is Monday from 6pm onwards and new members are welcome to come up to the green and meet us. If you’ve never played before come and have a go at bowling, you’ll enjoy the quiet location, the friendly members, the
lovely green and the sound of easy-going competition.
You just need to wear a pair of flat shoes, we will loan you a set of bowls.
We have been in our present location since 1994; we play friendly matches against local teams, and enjoy a full social calendar of fund raising events including quiz nights, crown green competitions and barbeques.
The membership subscription is £38 this year (£5 for under 18s), we pay green fees of £1.50 per week for unlimited time on the green, and a nominal amount for competitions which normally includes tea.
